1. Trent Farrell is a boy haunted in his dreams by a number of dark spirits. These spirits are teaching him various mystical things while he sleeps. They've targeted him due to his natural supernatural power, but he doesn't want to do the bad things that they want him to. Instead, if he is to be taught these things, he'd prefer to use them for good, and to find others who also fight for good, hoping that their good influence will keep him on the straight and narrow. The spirits call him "Lord Feral", which he has insisted is not his name, but he figures it works as well as anything else as a superhero handle.
